Letter to Rabbis

Dear Rabbis, Board members, and community members,

It’s that time of year again when we at Yesh Tikva are gearing up for the Fourth Annual Infertility Awareness Shabbat. As we are celebrating Chanukah we must take pause to think about the individuals struggling to build and expand their families who will once again be faced with the reality of infertility over the holidays.

It is for this reason that we are attempting to garner the support of all Synagogues across America to dedicate this Annual Shabbat to raise awareness about infertility and its emotional impact.  We turn to you as the leaders of your communities and ask that you once again join together with your colleagues and Yesh Tikva to share a dvar torah or message with your congregation for the Fourth Annual Infertility Awareness Shabbat on April 6, 2019.

Passover is the holiday when we became one nation, a united Jewish people. Let us unite once again to ensure that no one is made to feel alone this year, or ever again. It only takes a minute to Sign Up Today!

We know that Nisan is far off, so don’t worry. We will remind you about this project closer to April 6. Additionally, materials on infertility and related sensitivities will be available to use at your discretion.

Thanking you in advance,

Gila Block & Elie Salomon
