Bake With Us — From Home

You don’t have to be in the same room to be part of something meaningful.

Yesh Tikva’s Bake From Home initiative invites you to make challah in your own kitchen while helping us continue to support Jewish individuals and families navigating infertility and family-building challenges.

Participate on your own, bake with your family or friends, or gather a few people together and make an evening of it.

There is no set ticket price. Instead, we invite you to make a donation in an amount that feels meaningful to you.

After you register, you’ll receive everything you need to participate from home.

Your Bake From Home materials include:

• Challah Baking Demonstrations to guide you through the process
• Yesh Tikva’s Fertility Prayer to incorporate into your challah baking or hafrashat challah
• A Challah Recipe Booklet filled with recipes to try, share, and make your own

Whether challah baking is already part of your weekly rhythm or this is your first time making a batch, you are welcome here.

Baking With Intention

For generations, Jewish women have used the mitzvah of challah as a moment for prayer, reflection, connection, and hope.

For those longing to build their families, that moment can hold even more.

You may be baking in honor of someone you love. You may be praying for your own family. You may simply want to stand alongside people in our community whose paths to parenthood have been far more complicated than they expected.

Whatever brings you here, we hope this can be a moment to slow down, make something with your hands, and hold space for the hopes carried quietly within our community.

How It Works

Make a donation of any amount through our Bake From Home registration form.

Once you submit your donation, your Bake From Home materials will be sent to the email address you provide.

Then flour the counter, pull out a mixing bowl, and bake with us from wherever you are.
