OneCandle

A Small Prayer. A Big Act of Chesed.

Offer a quiet prayer for someone on their path to parenthood,
a mitzvah of compassion wrapped in community.

Participating in OneCandle is easy!

STEP 1:

In collaboration with us, Yesh Tikva Board Member Ayala Gross of @bocababycompany started #OneCandle during her own fertility journey. OneCandle is an act of protest and a plea for miracles. The hope is that when we set out our own candles and pray on behalf of those dreaming of growing their families God will answer our prayers for those struggling to conceive.

Purchase or set out a votive and sign up for the prayer list.

Step 2:

Prayers and names of 3-5 warriors facing infertility will be delivered straight to your email inbox.

Step 3:

At candle lighting on Shabbat, leave your votive candle unlit.

Step 4:

Think about the warriors, sending warm vibes and prayers their way.

Step 5:

We will inform you when the warrior’s prayers have been answered, and then you may light your candle.

Sign up to receive a prayer list of 3-5 names:
